1Of David. My soul, bless the Lord, and all my innards, His holy name. | ×
My soul, bless: There are five mentions of “My soul, bless” here, corresponding to the five worlds in which man lives, as our Sages said in Tractate Berachoth (10a): “He lived in his mother’s womb, he sucked his mother’s breasts, and so all of them.”
2My soul, bless the Lord and do not forget any of His benefits. |

4Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with kindness and mercy. |
5Who sates your mouth with goodness, that your youth renews itself like the eagle. | ההַמַּשְׂבִּ֣יַע בַּטּ֣וֹב עֶדְיֵ֑ךְ ×ªÖ´Ö¼×ªÖ°×—Ö·×“ÖµÖ¼Ö–×©× ×›Ö·Ö¼× Ö¶Ö¼Ö£×©Ö¶×ר × Ö°×¢×•Ö¼×¨Ö¸Ö½×™Ö°×›Ö´×™:
that your youth renews itself like the eagle: Like this eagle, which renews its wings and feathers from year to year. There is a Midrash Aggadah about a kind of eagle that returns to its youth when it becomes old.
6The Lord performs charitable deeds and judgment for all oppressed people. |

He remembers that we are dust: He remembers and has not forgotten that we are dust and He knows that: “As for manhis days, etc.”
15As for man-his days are like grass; like a flower of the field, so does he sprout. |

17But the Lord's kindness is from everlasting to everlasting, and His charity to sons of sons. | יזוְחֶ֚סֶד יְהֹוָ֨ה | ×žÖµÖ½×¢×•Ö¹×œÖ¸Ö£× ×•Ö°×¢Ö·×“Ö¾×¢×•Ö¹×œÖ¸× ×¢Ö·×œÖ¾×™Ö°×¨Öµ×ָ֑יו וְ֜צִדְקָת֗וֹ ×œÖ´×‘Ö°× ÖµÖ¥×™ ×‘Ö¸× Ö´Ö½×™×:
