Crossing The Read Sea: Saved or Salty

Exodus 30:34–36 (KJV 1900): 34 And the Lord said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight: 35 And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy: 36 And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.

Genesis 19:25–28 (KJV 1900): 25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

27 And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord:

28 And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.

Psalm 119:105–112 (KJV 1900): 105   Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
And a light unto my path.
106  I have sworn, and I will perform it,
That I will keep thy righteous judgments.
107  I am afflicted very much:
Quicken me, O Lord, according unto thy word.
108  Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord,
And teach me thy judgments.
109   My soul is continually in my hand:
Yet do I not forget thy law.
110  The wicked have laid a snare for me:
Yet I erred not from thy precepts.
111  Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
For they are the rejoicing of my heart.
112  I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes
Alway, even unto the end.
